Frederik Kurzrock, Meteorologist at Reuniwatt, will participate in a conference to present the different technologies that we use to provide forecasts: Numerical Weather Prediction models, statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, time series modelling, satellite image processing, cloud tracking techniques, radiative transfer calculation and irradiance-to-power conversion algorithms.
He will also present the use of energy forecasts and estimations in very concrete situations, in order to maximize energy yields. The conference will take place at 3:15 pm on Tuesday 30th of May, in Room 5 of the Internationales Congress Center München.
