While UK has been the leading european solar market for 3 years in a row and reached the 12 GW mark earlier this year, the need for accurate solar forecasts on the spot markets is growing. For this reason, Reuniwatt developed the Country Forecasts – predictions of the variable renewable production (solar and wind) of entire countries – for the United Kingdom territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reuniwatt launches Country Forecast UK<\/h3>\n

After the development of the Country Forecast product for the German territory, Reuniwatt added in 2017 Country Forecast UK. This new product broadens our range of forecasting solutions for the energy market players: TSOs, energy traders, aggregators and Balance Responsible Entities.<\/p>\n

We now provide a reliable and customer-oriented intraday and day-ahead forecast to the energy market players. Indeed, the outcome of the first months of forecasts highlights once again the outstanding quality of our solar predictions. In particular, remarkable results in intraday are obtained thanks to the use of image processing methods on geostationnary satellite images. The proactivity of Reuniwatt in this technology makes us able to provide ready-to-use data that will be a consistent decision-making base for our customers.<\/p>\n
