About Frederik K
Frederik obtained his Master of Science in Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere with a focus on Meteorology in Bonn, Germany. Since 2014, he has been working as an energy meteorologist for Reuniwatt. In 2019 Frederik completed his doctorate on the improvement of solar irradiance forecasts using satellite data assimilation in regional numerical weather prediction (NWP) models with Reuniwatt and Université de La Réunion. Frederik has many years of experience in renewable energy forecasting and now focusses on solar power production forecasts. Since his university years, Frederik has been gathering expert knowledge regarding the application of regional-scale NWP models, especially the WRF model.
