This year again, Reuniwatt will participate in the International Conference on Energy & Meteorology, organised by the World Energy & Meteorology Council (WEMC). The WEMC is a non-profit organisation devoted to promoting and enhancing the interaction between the energy industry and the weather, climate and broader environmental sciences community.
The conference theme for ICEM 2017 is: Challenges in Weather, Climate & Water Services for Energy. It will take place in Bari, Italy, from 27-29 June.
Reuniwatt Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Sylvain Cros will be giving two presentations:
- “Intraday solar irradiance forecasting using day and night satellite data: benefits for the PV electricity trading” on Day 2 – Wednesday 28 June from 11:20 – 11:40.
- “Very-short term solar power forecasting using a thermal infrared camera” on Day 3 – Thursday 29 June during the Parallel Session One, from 11:15 – 13:00. The theme for this session is: Forecasting for power-system applications – wind and solar.
