Reuniwatt is pleased to announce its participation in the Meteorological Technology World Expo 2026, taking place from 6–8 October 2026 at RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands. Visit our team at booth H53 to discover how advanced cloud observation, weather forecasting, and atmospheric monitoring technologies support operational decision-making across aviation, atmospheric sciences, and research applications. Meteorological Technology World Expo 2026 is one of the leading international events dedicated to meteorological, hydromet, and environmental monitoring technologies.
Advancing Automated Cloud Observation for Aviation
At the co-located WMO TECO-2026, Mehdi Ben Slama will present Reuniwatt’s latest work on automated cloud observation systems for aviation. His presentation, Enhancing Automated Low Cloud Observations: Benefits of LWIR All-Sky Imager and Ceilometer Hybridization for METAR Compatible Cloud Cover, explores how combining thermal infrared all-sky imagery with ceilometer measurements can improve low-cloud detection and cloud cover reporting for airport operations.
By integrating complementary observation technologies, this approach enhances the spatial representativeness of cloud measurements while supporting METAR-compatible reporting and the modernization of aviation weather observing systems.

Weather Intelligence for Aviation, Atmospheric Sciences and Research
As a major player in the solar and aerospace sectors, Reuniwatt develops weather intelligence solutions that combine patented all-sky imagers, satellite data, numerical weather prediction, and artificial intelligence. Our technologies support applications ranging from airport weather monitoring and air traffic operations to atmospheric research and contrail mitigation initiatives.
Working with aviation authorities, manufacturers, service providers, and airlines worldwide, Reuniwatt delivers actionable weather information that helps users monitor atmospheric conditions, anticipate hazards, and improve operational decision-making. These capabilities are further explored in our latest MTI article, Beyond the Vertical, which highlights how advanced observation systems can enhance situational awareness for airport operations, support contrail-related research, and provide valuable atmospheric intelligence for the aviation sector.
