Such a solution enables worldwide historical and real-time observations, enabling researchers can get information about a number of cloud features, such as cloud fraction, cloud type, multilayer detection, cloud optical thickness, and cloud cover forecasts.
- Sky InSight™ is our thermal infrared sky imager for continuous and high-resolution observation of the atmosphere. Examples of its use in R&D projects include monitoring cloud evolution in the context of climate change or the identification and prediction of the evolution of contrails.
